Role Overview

SitGram is seeking a highly skilled Senior SEO Specialist to plan, execute, and scale SEO strategies aligned with modern search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable organic growth across traditional search results, AI Overviews, and zero-click experiences while ensuring strong technical foundations and content excellence.

This role requires close collaboration with content, design, and development teams to improve search visibility, increase qualified traffic, and deliver measurable business impact through organic search.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversions

• Optimize on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and content structure

• Conduct technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and rendering issues

• Improve site performance with a focus on Core Web Vitals, page speed, and UX signals

• Implement and manage schema markup and structured data for enhanced search features

• Perform keyword, intent, and topic research

• Plan and maintain topic clusters and entity-focused content frameworks

• Prepare SEO-driven content briefs outlining search intent, structure, keywords, and entities

• Prepare image briefs defining visual intent and image SEO requirements

• Collaborate with writers, designers, and developers to ensure SEO, E-E-A-T, and brand alignment

• Optimize content and pages for AI-driven search experiences including AI Overviews and zero-click results

• Identify opportunities for featured snippets, rich results, and SERP enhancements

• Plan and execute white-hat backlink strategies through outreach, partnerships, and digital PR

• Manage Google Business Profile and support local SEO initiatives where applicable

• Ensure consistency of business information across directories and citations

• Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog

• Analyze KPIs and deliver clear, actionable SEO reports and recommendations

• Conduct competitor analysis to uncover gaps, risks, and growth opportunities

• Track algorithm updates and evolving AI-search trends to continuously adapt strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable results

• Strong expertise in on-page, technical, and content-focused SEO

• Practical experience using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS basics, schema markup, and SEO-friendly site architecture

• Clear understanding of semantic SEO, entity-based optimization, and topical authority concepts

• Experience with local SEO, including Google Business Profile and citation management

• Strong analytical ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action

• Ability to collaborate effectively with content, design, and development teams

• Confident written and spoken English communication skills

• Proactive mindset with adaptability in an AI-driven and fast-changing search environment
